Business Development Representative
About the job
Docfield is at an exciting inflection point. Early traction, a clear ICP, and a product that's winning in the market. Now, we need to pour fuel on the fire.
This is a rare role for someone who gets restless doing just one thing. You're equally at home designing a referral loop as you are picking up the phone to open a new account. You'll own the top of our funnel end-to-end — generating demand, working leads into meetings, and handing warm opportunities to the team to close.
If you've spent 1–2 years in a BDR or SDR role and you're ready to stop just executing sequences and start building the growth engine that feeds them, this is your moment.
What You'll Do
Drive Growth
Identify and experiment with the channels and tactics that move the needle: outbound, content, referrals, light ABM — and build on what works
Design and run targeted campaigns focused on our key verticals (education sector and UK market) using the latest tools
Write copy that actually gets read: outreach messaging, LinkedIn posts, landing page content
Outbound & Lead Development
Call, qualify, and nurture relationships with a list of target accounts
Own outbound sequencing: research accounts, write personalised outreach, and follow up with persistence and creativity
Hand warm, qualified opportunities to the team with clear context and next steps — and follow along until the deal closes
Iterate & Report
Track what's working across channels and double down on it
Share learnings with the team and propose where to invest time and budget next
What We're Looking For
1–2 years in a BDR, SDR, or inside sales role — you know how to open doors and you're good at it
Strong communicator, verbally and in writing — you can write a cold email and a LinkedIn post that both feel human, and jump on a call to pitch Docfield with genuine enthusiasm
Fluent in English; based in Amsterdam or able to work from our Amsterdam office
Experience in the education sector or selling into the UK market is a plus
Hands-on with tools like HubSpot, Apollo, Lemlist, or similar
